Hello everyone.
October is over and I know several of you were waiting for the last story of the TG October series, the one I had committed to posting yesterday. I’m truly sorry for the delay… a few things happened.
These last few days my computer started failing quite a bit. It’s not a new problem — it’s already somewhat old — but this month it got worse. That affected both the writing and my other obligations (university included). For almost the entire month I managed as best I could and for a while it seemed to stabilize, but in the end it reached its limit. Some of you may have noticed that in the final days of October I was posting the stories later than usual. Right after I finished writing the one for day 30, the machine finally gave out. I had to send it in for repair and, since it was the 31st, finding someone wasn’t easy at all. They returned it to me this afternoon, which is why I’m only able to write to you now.
The bigger problem is that the story file ended up completely corrupted and cannot be recovered. Along the way I also lost other stories. It’s a huge shame. I was hoping to be able to post it today, but the truth is that it won’t be possible.
From the bottom of my heart, an apology. I promise I’ll bring it to you as soon as I can.
Additionally, I realized that this was going to be the 100th story on the blog (counting the short ones). With that idea in mind, it occurred to me to do something different — something that takes a little more time, but that’s worth it. If I’m going to start from scratch, I want to do it properly.
For now I just wanted to apologize to you. See you in the next story.
